How to spend 3 days in Agadir: Our itinerary
Here’s how we spent our 3 full days here.
1️⃣ Caught the late flight out on Monday evening (9 pm)
2️⃣ Tuesday: Beach and chill day.
3️⃣ Wednesday: Day trip to the ‘baby Sahara desert’.
4️⃣ Thursday: Day trip to Marrakesh.
5️⃣ Friday morning: Caught 6.30 am flight.
Is Morocco safe?
In our experience, definitely. The strip in Agadir with all the restaurants reminded me so much of Lanzarote. Marrakesh was busier and had a lot more going on so in some situations I can see why it might feel overwhelming to some people but we never felt in danger.
Do women have to cover up?
Nope, not anymore. Women in Morocco now have equal rights as men. They no longer have to cover up, it’s a choice. In saying that, the mosques are still separated by gender.
🛌 Where to stay in Agadir
There are so many hotels along the main strip in Agadir. We stayed in La Suite Boutique Hotel, a 2-minute walk from the beach and about 30 minutes from the airport. It was a little cheaper than the beachfront hotels and the staff was all particularly helpful.

- Spend the day at the beach.
- Do a day trip to Marrakesh.
- Do a day trip to the Sahara Desert.
- Go on the Dune Buggys.
- Take a hot air balloon over the High Atlas Mountains.
- Day trip to Paradise Valley.
- Take surf lessons.
🍽️ Where to eat and drink in Agadir?
- ‘Ô Playa’. We actually ate here 2 out of the 4 nights we were here because it was so good.
- Amore & Passione was a really nice Italian restaurant right beside ‘Ô Playa’.
- ‘Jade’ looked like a really nice Thai food restaurant.
How to spend 3 days in Agadir, extra tips;
We literally spent 3 days here, so if we had more time with annual leave and priorities at home we would have stayed longer.
Depending on flight prices, I’d recommend flying into Agadir and flying home from Marrakesh so you don’t have to make the trip back.
